Control Services Officers

Flamika Investigazioni e Sicurezza is authorized by the Prefecture of Catania to provide control services for entertainment and show activities in places open to the public or in public establishments as required by the Ministerial Decree of 6 October 2009, also employing Professional Operators registered in the Prefectural register and in possession of the requirements set out in the Maroni Decree of 06/10/2009 ART. 1 P.TO 4.

In carrying out their control tasks, the personnel referred to in Article 1 of this decree shall carry out the following activities:
PRELIMINARY CHECKS:
a.1) summary observation of the premises to verify the presence of any illicit substances or prohibited objects, as well as any other material that could be improperly used, putting the safety or health of people at risk, with the obligation to immediately notify the police forces and other competent authorities or public bodies;
a.2) adopt any useful initiative to avoid creating obstacles or hindrances to the accessibility of escape routes and in any case to ensure the smooth running of entertainment activities;
CHECKS UPON PUBLIC ACCESS:
b.1) monitoring the entrances to the places referred to in the previous article 4 and regulating public flows;
b.2) verification of possession of a valid admission ticket, if required, and, in the case of a personal ticket or a minimum age requirement for admission, verification of the identification document and compliance with the provisions governing access;
a.1) summary observation of the premises to verify the presence of any illicit substances or prohibited objects, as well as any other material that could be improperly used, putting the safety or health of people at risk, with the obligation to immediately notify the police forces and other competent authorities or public bodies;
CHECKS INSIDE THE PREMISES:
c.1) generic observation activities to verify compliance with provisions, regulations or rules of conduct established by public or private entities;
c.2) participation in first aid procedures, which do not involve the exercise of public duties, the use of force or other means of coercion, or exposure to risk, aimed at preventing or interrupting conduct or situations potentially dangerous to the safety or health of individuals. The obligation to immediately report such incidents to the police and other competent authorities or public bodies remains unaffected, and full cooperation must be provided to them upon request.

Recognisability of personnel assigned to control tasks
In carrying out the tasks set forth in this decree, the personnel referred to in Article 1 must be equipped with a suitable identity document and display a yellow identification badge, with the characteristics set out in Annex A of this decree, bearing the wording "Assistance» in easily readable characters.
